M I M I is een veelzijdige DJ en transdisciplinaire kunstenaar, geboren in Lusaka, Zambia en woonachtig in Brussel. Ze beperkt zich niet tot één muziekstijl, maar combineert continue allerlei genres. Ze staat op het podium als dj, met het collectief Lait de Coco, en voorheen met Martha Da'ro. Daarnaast heeft ze ook een maandelijkse radioshow op The Word Radio. M I M I haalt inspiratie uit avant-gardebewegingen, verkent haar roots en heeft een heel eigenzinnige, afro-futuristische kijk op kunst en muziek.
