In april ’23 zag ‘Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare’, de eerste LP van het psychedelische dub-trio Holy Tongue, het levenslicht. Net als drie eerdere EP’s verscheen die op Amidah Records. Holy Tongue is een samenwerking tussen percussioniste Valentina Magaletti (Vanishing Twin, Nicolas Jaar), producer Al Wootton (TRULE Records, FKA Deadboy) en Susumu Mukai (Zongamin).
Met hun liefde voor dubreggae, On-U-Sound (Creation Rebel, African Head Charge), de vroege postpunk van Liquid Liquid of de experimentele funk van The Pop Group and 23 Skidoo creëren ze een eigen universum waarin het heerlijk dwalen is.
